Remodelling of Paseo Vara de Rey, Ibiza

The project wants to improve the legibility of the space and structure of the ride (still present and significant in the historical pictures). To reduce the actual heterogeneous character of this space, we decided to eliminate traffic on the south side of the ride, and the different actions added to the original configuration, especially in terms of vegetation elements.
Reversing the priority use of space for the pedestrian, through a unique section, which strengthens the relationship between the facades of the ride and add a component transverse to the linearity of the space, helps to recognize and configure within S’Alamera three areas with different values: Montesol Square and the Cinema, the monument environment and the “forest”.
